Circe- Goddess of Magic
Circe
Circe is known as one of the goddesses of magic; some described her as a witch, enchantress or sorceress. She was not good nor evil, but people were frightened of her because she would turn men into pigs. This wasn't done out of pleasure or fun; Circe would do this to men that would do unspeakable things to her and her island (Aeaea).
Been a true sorceress she would work with the elements by using herbs and plants to mix potions. She would be one of the 1st true witches to use plant magic.
Circe's greatest gift to us witches, is the practice of plant magic. She is why we use plants the way we do today. She really felt into the plants to discover their true meaning and how to use them. By using herbs, plants and flowers in our practice we are honouring Circe.

Circe is another goddess I like to work closely with; I give thanks to her when I open my spell work mixing herbs and using flowers etc. She is honoured every time a Witch & Co. spell mix, LLI or herb is used and mixed.
Circe was exiled to her island; she lost everything family, friends and lovers. She knew loss and grief, not giving up she learnt to use this energy and she grew into one of the greatest herbal witches in history.
She is the perfect goddess to call in when you are clingy onto something you must let go of and the perfect support when you are healing from grief.
