Yule- Winter Solstice

Yule- Winter Solstice
21st June

Yule is also known as Winter Solstice, for us it's the longest night of the year. Yule is a time to connect with our loved ones and celebrate life. It is a time to dive deep into the darkness, facing challenges and a perfect time to connect into our shadow work.
Always remember with light comes dark; to balance out your spiritual work you must also work on the darkness too. But don't worry the light will always shine again. It's time to get into some serious healing work.

Yule is a time for self-care, creating boundaries and crashing through emotional barriers. Open yourself up to nourishing your soul; ask for support from your guides and ancestors. They will help you through with love and light, even while you are digging deep into your shadow work. Make time to take things slow and be kind to yourself; meditation will help relax your mind, body and soul.

Yule is also a great time to reset your home and clear out all the unwanted and negative energy. When cleansing and clearing your home ensure you have windows and doors open so the negative energy can leave.

Each Sabbat has gods and goddesses that support us through and that we can give offerings to. I have listed a few that you can call in while doing your ritual work and setting your altar.
Yule's deities- Odin, Ra, Decima, The Holy King, The Oak King & The horned God.

Below I have put together a list of items that can be used for ritual work for Yule

Colours- White, Yellow, Red, Gold & Pink

"As darkness sets upon us, I call in my guides to light the way through the darkness
Guide and protect me as I dive into deep self work"
